Pete graduated from the University of Leeds in 1993 before completing his ICAEW training contract with a leading 'big 4' accountancy firm - PwC.

 

His career with PwC then took him to New Zealand for 4 years where he was promoted early to Senior Manager in Audit and Transaction Services, before realising his lifelong ambition and moving into professional education as he returned to the UK.

 

He worked for BPP for around 10 years as a management tutor, but along the way with BPP he also ran their Birmingham Centre successfully for 3 years, then became head of the North Region for several years before finally becoming the UK Operations Director based in London. He then moved to Reed Business School in the Cotswolds where he continued to teach and manage their CIMA and ICAEW programmes for 3 years, before becoming self employed.

 

He is now a Fellow of the ICAEW and works independently delivering education services internationally via online live interactive delivery and recordings, 1:1, in businesses and through technical writing, including writing for real exams. He is also an Examiner for many papers for leading international accountancy qualifications.
