After a few years of self study, I turned to Pete to complete my CIMA course. Pete instantly made a difference to the way I approached my studying. With his obvious passion for the subject, Pete was able to inspire me to put the work in when I most needed to, which with a 4 year old daughter and a two year old son was not an easy task.
If I was ever in doubt about my ability to complete the course, Pete always had an encouraging word to help put me back on track. I think the real benefit of Pete's teaching style is that he makes everything relevant, bringing in real life examples and making you think about your own situation which allowed me to remember more, but also understand everything.
If I ever pursued another qualification, Pete would definitely be my first choice. On top of all this, he's a great guy too!

I have thoroughly enjoyed having Pete as a tutor for Financial Management! The topic is quite a different concept to what we’ve covered before Through practical illustration and his abundant knowledge in the subject, he was able to explain these ‘alien’ concepts in a variety of ways to cater for our learning styles.
Pete has been really dedicated in answering any questions I have about the content, to which he has responded extremely quickly, at all hours of the day! He doesn’t just provide you with answers, but he encourages you and supports every step of the way! It is a module that you need to have real confidence in yourself to succeed in the exam and Pete gave me the belief I would do well through his constant positivity!
He is really passionate about the subject, which shines through in his teaching and as a consequence, is certainly motivating! Although it has been the hardest module I have taken so far, it has been, by far, my most enjoyable and rewarding.
He is an extremely attentive tutor and puts a lot of time into helping his students to ensure success! During lectures, Pete was responsive to our learning styles and constantly adapted in order to ensure we got the most out of the sessions. The information was presented in a clear and logical manner and his in-depth knowledge enabled us to understand the information in greater detail! Pete is really approachable and provides the support you need to achieve! He gave us important revision tips to ensure we were well prepared for the revision session and useful exam techniques to approach questions.
Not only are the lectures full of concise information, he makes it fun! Pete is an animated and amusing person and, along with his passion for the subject, he has an infectious enthusiasm for learning! He can also crack a good joke!
Pete doesn’t just want you to pass the exam, although this is the main goal, he wants to help you to understand the content so you can benefit from it for use in the workplace and for your future! He is really focussed on the student and encouraging the best from them! I think he is a brilliant tutor and have thoroughly enjoyed learning, what I thought was, an impossible subject!

One-to-one workshop on Credit Risk Assessment and accounts interpretation:
I went into the training very open minded, I didn’t know what to expect or how the day would be structured. The material was well prepared, at the right level and delivered in a structured format. The use of individual case studies made the material relevant and allowed me to be able to paint a clear picture in my head of what the accounts showed.The course really helped my understanding of the subject area and built my confidence. The personal touch of the 1-1 training enabled me to ask questions in an open and honest environment enabling me to get the most from the day.
I liked the one – one element of the training it gave me chance to ask specific questions without feeling overly stupid. All communications before the course was prompt and clear.
Excellent course materials, given in a simple and easy to use format. Take- away material enables follow up work, and refresher work to be done on my own time. Material was at the right level and covered the areas I needed it to.
